The SMS PAC on the 2nd device will be removed!
According to Public Bank’s official website, the SMS PAC verification method will be removed from all PB engage MY APP second devices. This policy has been in effect since December 1, 2022. Date of application.
Users can still approve PB engage MY transactions via PB SecureSign, PB SecurePAC, and SecureSign Token.
Simply put, when the user logs in to the PBe account on the second device, he can no longer verify the transaction through SMS PAC, but must approve the transaction through the first device’s SecureSign, PB SecurePAC, and SecureSign Token.
The goal of this measure is to improve online banking security and reduce the risk of deposits being stolen.
