With the government’s announcement to open up domestic economic activities and open up the country’s borders, AirAsia has announced that it will launch Free Seats from April 9. The Free Seats offer is available on both domestic and international flights.
The booking dates for this Free Seats are from April 9 to April 17, 2022, while the departure dates are from September 12, 2022 to March 25, 2023. Tickets can be booked through the AirAsia Super APP.
Domestic destinations include Penang, Alor Setar, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Sibu, while international destinations include Singapore, Phuket, Medan, Jakarta, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Siem Reap, etc. The all-inclusive one-way fare for the free airfare promotion to domestic destinations is RM23, while the one-way fare to international destinations is RM69.
Fully vaccinated passengers wishing to travel to and from Malaysia must meet the requirements of the Malaysian government and the respective governments of all countries of departure and arrival prior to booking their flights and upon arrival.
