AirAsia has launched a new payment service, AirAsia Pocket, which is a different payment service from BigPay.
If you have the latest version of the AirAsia Super App open, you will see a wallet button in the top right corner of the app, which will ask you to sign up for AirAsia Pocket.
To sign up for AirAsia Pocket, you need to enter your personal information such as mobile number, name, ID number and date of birth, and then you need to enter the OTP verification code you received.
AirAsia Pocket is divided into a Lite account, which can only deposit and pay up to RM500, and a Pro account, which cannot transfer or receive money. The Pro account supports up to RM4,999 and can transfer and receive payments. The AirAsia Pocket is powered by Fasspay and is licensed by the National Bank.
The AirAsia Pocket can be used to pay for and purchase airline tickets, and offers an additional 10% discount on airline tickets ordered on weekends. Use the AirAsia Pocket for food orders on weekends and receive 10x AirAsia Points.
