AirAsia has launched the FAST PASS service, which offers four benefits to passengers who purchase FAST PASS.
According to AirAsia’s website, the FAST PASS service allows passengers to carry up to 14 kilograms of hand baggage on board the aircraft, and can also be used to enter and exit the country using the fast track, as well as priority boarding and use of the exclusive check-in counters in Zone 1.
Originally, each passenger was limited to a maximum of 7 kilograms of hand baggage, but FAST PASS passengers are allowed to carry two pieces of hand baggage totaling 14 kilograms on board. The maximum weight of each piece of baggage must not exceed 10 kilograms, and can be 7+7, 9+5, 10+4, etc.
FAST PASS passengers can check-in at counters W1 and W2 at KLIA 2 and use APAC Channel A7 counters (A6 and A7) on departure at KLIA 2 and APAC Channel A1 counters (A1 and A2) on arrival at KLIA 2.
The cost of FAST PASS is RM39 for domestic flights and RM59 for international flights, and this service is only available for flights departing and arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2).
Passengers can purchase a FAST PASS at the time of booking and a limited number of FAST PASSes are available for sale on each route. in the event that a route is canceled, your FAST PASS can be refunded in full or transferred to the next available flight.
