Air Selangor is going to carry out upgrading and maintenance works on water filtration stations. 188 areas in Selangor will have their water supply suspended in phases from August 9 onwards!
According to information released by Air Selangor, 188 areas in Hulu Selangor will experience water supply disruptions as the Loji Rawatan Air Rasa water filtration station will be upgraded and repaired on August 9.
The 188 affected areas will be disconnected in phases starting from 9am on August 9, 2022. Air Selangor will resume water supply in phases from 1:00am on August 10 after the repair works. The water supply is expected to be fully restored at 1:00 a.m. on August 11.
Air Selangor will send water tankers to the affected areas to distribute water, and people are urged to stock up on fresh water for their daily needs.
The repair work has been approved by the National Water Commission (SPAN). People can get more details through Air Selangor APP or by calling 15300 hotline.
