A man in Vietnam recently discovered that the left side of his body went numb after entering the room from the sweltering outside to turn on the air conditioner. It was determined after being taken to the hospital that it was caused by an acute stroke.
The man frequently helps his wife in buying veggies at the vegetable market. He went to the market, as usual, a few days ago, returning home at one o’clock, but since it was too hot out, he turned on the air conditioner and the electric fan to cool down as quickly as he could.
A few minutes later, the man unexpectedly experienced a headache and dizziness. The man checked his blood pressure because he had a history of having high blood pressure, and he discovered a startling reading of 150/100 mmHg. He chose to begin taking blood pressure medication right away, but by this time, he had developed weakness in the left side of his body and numbness on the left side of his mouth. The man was so terrified by the situation. Thus, he called his family and friends to take him to the hospital.
The doctor checked the patient, who had a sudden stroke when it was discovered. He might become a serious cerebral infarction if left ignored. He quickly gave the man blood clot-dissolving medications to stop him from paralyzing himself and increasing the cerebral vascular blockage. The man has recovered 90% and can work and live normally after a week of substance abuse rehab.
