CIMB has announced that it will adjust its preferential interest rate for time deposits effective December 10.
According to CIMB, the 6-month time deposit rate will be adjusted to 3.85% p.a. This measure will be effective from December 10 to January 2, 2022.
Previously, eFRIA-i at 3.70% p.a. for 6 months and eFD at 3.75% p.a. for 6 months will be adjusted to 3.85% p.a. from December 10th.
The latest rates for eFRIA-i will be 3.20%p.a. for 3 months, 3.85%p.a. for 6 months and 3.90%p.a. for 12 months. For eFDs, the rates will be 3.30%p.a. for 3 months, 3.85%p.a. for 6 months and 3.95%p.a. for 12 months. The minimum deposit for this time deposit offer is RM1,000.
