Covid-19 RTK-Ag test kits would be given to 59 state assembly service centres around Perak state.
As a preventive move against the spread of the Covid-19 virus during the Festive season, the Perak government, through the state Health Department (JKN), has prepared 1,000 free self-test Covid-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kits (RTK-Ag) for each of 59 state assembly (ADUN) service facilities.
Chairman of the State Health, Science, Environment, and Green Technology Committee Mohd Akmal Kamarudin said the test kits were distributed to help regulate and break the Covid-19 infection chain.
Each ADUN service centre will receive 1,000 fast test kits, which will then be distributed to the general public. The majority of Covid19 patients are in Categories One and Two, which require only home quarantine and recover in two to three days.
The daily Covid-19 infection count has dropped for the second day in a row, with fewer than 2,000 cases recorded.
