A yellow-level persistent rainfall warning has been issued by the Meteorology Department!

There is a yellow-level continual rainfall warning!

The Malaysian Meteorological Department announced at 12:45 a.m. on January 23 that there will be continuous rainfall in many states of the country until January 25, the fourth day of the Lunar New Year.

Continuous rain will fall on Terengganu, Pahang, Johor, Sarawak, and Sabah. Residents in these areas are urged to be alert and vigilant.

When the amount of rain in an area exceeds 6 hours, the Meteorology Department will issue a yellow warning for continuous rain.

1. Terengganu (Dungun dan Kemaman)
2. Pahang (Kuantan, Pekan dan Rompin)
3. Johor (Segamat, Kluang, Mersing, Kulai, Kota Tinggi dan Johor Bahru)
4. Sarawak: Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Bintulu dan Miri (Subis, Beluru, Miri dan Marudi)
5. Sabah: Pedalaman (Tambunan), Pantai Barat, Tawau (Lahad Datu), Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran dan Sandakan) dan KudatThe Bureau of Meteorology issued a yellow level persistent rainfall warning!
