A sales tax of up to RM1,100 will be implemented to Perodua Myvi.
On June 30th, the car sales tax exemption expired. The price of autos has also started to rise as of July, when sales tax collection will commence on all vehicles.
Additionally, Perodua raised the cost of the Perodua Myvi by RM800 to RM1,100. The top 1.5 AV Myvi’s price has increased by RM1,100, from RM58,800 to RM59,900.
Additionally, 1.5H Myvi’s price was increased by RM1,000, from RM53,900 to RM54,900. 1.5X Myvi’s price has increased by RM1,000 to RM50,900 from RM49,900. RM47,700 was increased to 1.3G Myvi. It was increased by RM800, to RM48,500.
Notice! The price difference between East and West Malaysia is RM2,000, without including the cost of car insurance and other expenses.
It is important to note that many domestic automakers had a backlog of orders before June 30, so customers who had just placed their purchases in July could have to wait a long time to receive their new vehicles.
