A policeman was killed in a car accident in Jenjarom.
Yesterday evening, a police officer was murdered after his motorcycle collided with a jeep on Jalan Kampong Sri Cheeding in Jenjarom.
Corporal Muhamad Nazri Mohd Nor, 31, of the Bukit Puchong police station, was on his way home after ending his shift at 4pm, according to Subang Jaya district police chief ACP Abd Khalid Othman.
According to Khalid Othman, Muhamad Nazri received head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene before being transported to the Banting Hospital for further treatment.
Muhamad Nazri had been a police officer for nine years and had a wife, according to him.
Abd Khalid said the jeep driver has yet to file a police report, and that anyone with information should contact traffic investigation officer Inspector Keisha Nur Azalea Betty Saran at the Kuala Langat district police headquarters.
Meanwhile, Selangor police chief Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed expressed his sympathies to the victim’s family on behalf of the Selangor police contingent workforce.
