An 82-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with two bleeding eyes, a bruised face, and a swollen nose. But when her daughter realized that the doctor had confirmed the condition, the daughter requested that her mother be euthanized!
A Malaysian doctor posted this story on Facebook. He noted that the elderly woman had at the time stated that the injuries had resulted from an accidental fall off the bed. He phoned the mother’s daughter with a suspicious attitude due to the seriousness of the injuries, but the other party gave no response: “Is she gone? Please euthanize her if she is still alive.”
The doctor was initially shocked by the woman’s response and repeated his request for details, but she reacted strongly, “Yes! Doctor, could you please let her die? Later, doctors were trying to pressure the woman into visiting the hospital by claiming that some hospital processes required family members’ signatures.
