This mountain has two peaks, and the main peak is 1276 meters above sea level, which is the highest mountain in Johor. This mountain was once made into a movie “Puteri Gunung Ledang”, the content of the movie is based on the legend, and added some new scenes to make the movie more attractive. The movie was a box office hit in Malaysia and also did well in international film festivals.
According to the legend, the Sultan of Malacca, Sultan Mahmud Shah, wanted to marry the Puteri Gunung Ledang. Sultan Mahmud Shahn his way to the mountain to ask for marriage, he met an old woman who called herself the representative of the Puteri Gunung Ledang. The old woman pointed out that if he wanted to marry the Puteri Gunung Ledang, he had to fulfill seven demanding requirements, including building a golden bridge connecting Gunung Ledang and Malacca, preparing seven plates of mosquito hearts, seven plates of insect hearts, a bottle of virgin tears, a bottle of water of young betel nut, a bowl of the sultan’s blood, and a bowl of the blood of Raja Ahmad, the sultan’s son. The Sultan said that all the conditions could be fulfilled, except for the last one, which was not fulfilled, and as a result, the marriage could not be done.
The legend is finished, now it is about paranormal events. The main character of the paranormal event, Liang, has been very active in various activities since his high school days. Every year, Liang and his friends would go camping in Jinshan. In the case of the paranormal incident, there were 30 people hiking together, and because of the number of people, they were divided into several small teams, which were then brought up by the teacher.
