Notice! Maybank will replace SMS notifications with APP pop-up notifications. The new measures will take effect from April 22, 2024.
According to a message from Maybank, after completing the designated transaction, you will no longer receive SMS notifications, but will only receive pop-up notifications from the APP.
Affected services include adjustments to transaction limits (Maybank to Maybank third-party transfers, DuitNow and GIRO inter-bank transfers, cross-border transfers, MIGA-i transfers, Bakong transfers, FPX, ASNB account transfers, ASNB third account transfers), Debit Card credit limit adjustment, personal information update (phone number, address and email address).
Users are encouraged to activate pop-up notifications on the MAE APP so that they can obtain the latest notifications from the bank as soon as possible. Users can open the MAE APP and enter the Settings function in the upper left corner. Then enter Notifications and enter the 6-digit PIN or use Life ID verification. Then select Open in the Promotions column.
