JPJ will introduce JXA license plate numbers and interested people can participate in bidding from April 2nd.
According to the Land Transport Authority (JPJ), the Johor license plate number JXA will be open for bidding from April 2, 2024 to April 6, 2024 at 10:00pm and the results will be announced on April 7, 2024.
People interested in purchasing the JXA license plate number can bid for the plate directly through JPJ’s e-bidding system. The e-bidding license plate system is very simple to use, first you need to register an account with the system. You can browse to https://jpjebid.jpj.gov.my/ebid/profile/signup, enter your ID number and then verify reCAPTCHA.
After completing the account registration, you can select Daftar Masuk https://jpjebid.jpj.gov.my/ebid/login . Select the license plate number you are interested in and then complete the payment via credit card. Individuals can only successfully bid for a maximum of 3 license plates while companies can only bid for a maximum of 5 license plates.
There are 4 classes of Malaysian license plate numbers and the minimum selling price starts from RM300. Single digit license plate numbers such as 1, 2, 3, etc. This class of license plate numbers are priced from as low as RM20,000.
For the more attractive numbers such as 11, 18, 22, 77, 88, 8888, etc., the minimum price for this class of license plate numbers starts from RM3,000. Other two-digit numbers such as 54, 69, 91, 97, etc. are priced from as low as RM800. Three-digit overlapping license plate numbers such as 212, 595, 700, 1,212, 3,113, 5,000, 8,080, etc. are priced from RM800.
Other license plate numbers that do not overlap as much and are not special are priced from RM300.
