Thailand’s Buriram Province, Nongkit County, a high school student shootings, junior high school third-grade boys dissatisfied with the middle finger by the senior seniors, and the two have a longstanding grudge, in the meeting to the school next to the Buddhist temple to resolve the conflict.
Seeing the two seniors to fight, the younger brother pulled out a pistol he was carrying and shot the senior in the head, another senior was shot four times in the process of escaping, and both were sent to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries, and the police are currently investigating the source of the gun.
The incident occurred at 12:30 p.m. on the 6th, police who received the report came to the incident Buddhist temple, next to a Buddhist temple to see two injured male students (16 years old), the Good Samaritan rescue workers quickly sent them to the hospital for emergency treatment. The shooter was Nai Chai, now 15, and the three of them were at the same school. He did not run away after the incident, but went to inform his teacher first and then waited for the police to arrive at the same place.
Nai Chai told the police that he and the senior had always been at odds with each other, and that on that day the senior had given him the finger and said to him, “I don’t like you, if you have the guts, I’ll see you at the Buddhist temple”. After hearing this, he put the gun into his school bag and came to the Buddhist temple, where the senior came with two men, and when they were about to hit themselves, he escaped and fired his pistol at the senior’s head, and after one of them fell, he ran and fired at the other senior. Afterward, he threw the pistol into the pond at the Buddhist temple and then went to tell his teacher.
Rescuers from the Good Samaritan Church revealed that the student who was shot in the head was convulsing, and they kept shouting to prevent him from fainting, but fortunately the bullet missed, did not get stuck in the head and did not penetrate the skull. Another student’s body was hit by a good machine gun, but fortunately did not hit the vitals.
The school’s physical education teacher said, the two have been in conflict, it is estimated that the appointment to the Buddhist temple was to solve the problem. In the future, the school will be more stringent checks on students, especially with regard to guns.
The local police chief said that from the preliminary investigation, it is the students’ previous private conflicts that triggered the shooting, and the children have not yet been further investigated, and need to wait for them to slow down before making further plans.
