Infinite Possibilities Become Bottomless Abyss 5-Step Hustler Blackmail Half a Billion Accerx.com Nationwide Scam

 

Deceiving trust, luring investment, giving sweeteners, making it difficult to withdraw cash, playing disappearance; ACCERX Virtual Currency Investment, which creates unlimited possibilities on the Internet, easily rolled away nearly RM50 million from the country’s people just by relying on the simple and old-fashioned 5-steps of scamming!

Seeing Profits Unavailable for Withdrawal

After police revealed yesterday that an octogenarian Chinese woman had lost RM10,455,288 in a virtual currency investment scam called “Accerx.com”, more and more victims of the scam are coming forward to report the scam in various states, and the police have so far received 49 reports of losses amounting to RM40.7 million.

Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Bureau director Datuk Seri Nanni disclosed that the police opened 45 investigation files in just nine days, alone has been reported to the victims of fraud losses, as much as 40.7 million ringgit.

“The real amount of loss is believed to be much higher than that.”

In addition, Johor Chief Superintendent M. Gumar also issued a statement saying that the victims of the scam were seen on social media advertisements that investing in cryptocurrencies can yield high profits in a short period, and thus were moved to click on the link and then were pulled into a WhatsApp investment illustration group to illustrate the profits gained from the investment.

“The dupes download the Accerx virtual currency trading platform through which they monitor every transaction.”

He disclosed that the dupes were deceived by the high profits promised by the hustlers and were instructed to send money to their bank accounts to buy cryptocurrencies.

First-time payoffs

According to the victims, when they saw on the Accerx website that they had made a lot of profit on their investments and wanted to withdraw them, the hustlers used various excuses to persuade them that if they wanted to get these profits, they had to pay more money; otherwise, they would lose their capital as well, and thus they were trapped deeper and deeper into the game.

Finally, the administrator of the group and the original lobbyist disappeared as if they were vaporized.

Our reporter went online to check the ACCERX investment webpage and found that the website with the note “ACCERX Exchange, Creating Unlimited Possibilities” is still there.

On this webpage in Chinese and English, although there are quotes, assets, contracts, options, subscription and tutorials, you need to register as a member in order to access and view them.

These fake investment platforms are usually disguised as companies from the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Marshall Islands, etc. They use images of beautiful women and handsome men on Facebook or dating apps to find prey and lure victims into the fake investment platforms, where they will definitely get a rebate on their first “investment” to “induce” the victims’ greed and continue to increase their investment. The victim’s greed is “induced” and he continues to increase the amount of his investment.

On the 26th of this month, an 80-year-old retired Chinese woman reported that she was defrauded of more than RM10.45 million after being lured into investing in virtual currencies through the website “Accerx.com” after joining a WhatsApp group.
