Bank of China Malaysia Branch launches time deposit discount!
According to the official website of Bank of China Malaysia Branch, discounts on ringgit time deposits, US dollar time deposits and RMB time deposits will be launched from January 12 to March 31, 2024.
The ringgit time deposit offer requires depositing for 12 months. When depositing a minimum of RM20,000, you can enjoy a preferential interest rate of 3.90% p.a., and when you deposit a minimum of RM150,000, you can enjoy a preferential interest rate of 3.95% p.a.
For U.S. dollar time deposits, you can enjoy 5.40% p.a. for 12 months, and the minimum deposit amount is US$35,000. The RMB time deposit discount is 2.20% p.a. for 12 months, with a minimum deposit amount of RMB 20,000.
Notice! The above 3 time deposit offers must be deposited through China Preferential Malaysia Branch, and they must be Fresh Funds.
Currently, Bank of China has 8 branches in Malaysia, namely in Kuala Lumpur, Muar, Penang, Klang, Johor Bahru, Puchong, Kuching and Malacca.
