Facebook users are the best to scam!

Data released by Ibu Pejabat Polis Diraja Malaysia Bukit Aman showed that for the whole of 2023, the number of victims of facebook scams amounted to 4,457, with a loss of more than RM55.33 million.

Whatsapp and Telegram are understood to be close behind, with 2,278 and 1,317 people being scammed and losing RM73.13 million and RM21.88 million respectively.

Instagram was not far behind, with 1,132 people being scammed out of more than RM10.98 million.
