Assistance funds have been disbursed by the government for the past four months.
The Malaysian Ministry of Finance has stated that aid will be given out on a monthly basis starting in November of this year and ending in February of the following year. Phases of the fourth round of STR assistance will be disbursed beginning on November 7 and ending in December with the distribution of RM100 in electronic cash.
A RM150 start-up subsidy will be given out in January 2024, and a minimum RM500 first-stage STR subsidy will be given out in February.
E-wallets will be used to distribute the RM100 electronic cash that was distributed in December. Which electronic wallet will be used for the distribution has not yet been disclosed by the government. The government will give you RM100 in electronic cash as long as your yearly income is under RM100,000.
Starting in January, all students in primary and secondary schools will receive RM150 in aid. All primary and secondary school pupils will receive the back-to-school aid, regardless of their parents’ financial situation.
In February, the first round of 2024 STR aid will be disbursed. You are eligible for STR assistance if your monthly income as a single person does not exceed RM2,500, or if your monthly income as a married person does not exceed RM5,000.

The first phase of the 2024 STR assistance program will be distributed in February.
