Deepavali in 2023 will fall on November 12 (Sunday), so primary and secondary schools will be able to enjoy a 4-day school holiday before and after Deepavali.
Primary and secondary schools in Group A states will be able to enjoy the four-day Deepavali school holiday from November 10 to November 13, 2023, while primary and secondary schools in Group B states will be able to enjoy the Deepavali school holiday from November 11 to November 11, 2023. There is a 4-day Deepavali school holiday on the 14th of September.
After the Deepavali school holiday, the next school holiday is the year-end school holiday in mid-December. Group A states will have a holiday from December 15, 2023 to January 1, 2024, while Group B states will have a holiday from December 16, 2023 to January 1, 2024.
