The coming month of November has 2 public holidays which are November 3 and November 12.
November 3 is the birth anniversary of the Sultan of Perak and Perak will have a one day holiday on this day. Since November 3 falls on a Friday, this will create a 3-day long weekend holiday when combined with the weekly vacations of Saturday and Sunday.
On November 12, which is the Deepavali, the entire country is entitled to a day off, except Sarawak. As Tu Bun falls on a Sunday, there will be a compensatory holiday on Monday, November 13, but this is not applicable to Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu, where the weekly leave falls on Friday and Saturday.
