good news! TM announces a reduction in unifi broadband charges, and existing users can get internet speed upgrades!
It is understood that the latest unifi will provide home broadband networks with speeds of 100Mbps to 2Gbps, which means it will no longer provide 30Mbps broadband services. Broadband network charges from 100Mbps to 2Gbps have also been reduced.
Unifi 100Mbps originally cost RM129 per month, but now it is reduced to only RM99 per month. As for unifi 300Mbps, it has also been reduced from RM149 to RM139. Unifi 500Mbps has also been reduced from RM209 to RM159.
unifi also launches 1Gbps and 2Gbps network services separately, which means there is no need to subscribe to unifiTV at the same time. The fees for these two packages are RM289 and RM319 respectively.
In addition, unifi has also launched a limited-time promotion of unifi 100Mbps, which is only RM89 per month during the promotion period. Current unifi users can get free upgrades. Users of 30Mbps can upgrade to 100Mbps for free, users of 100Mbps can upgrade to 300Mbps for free, 300Mbps can upgrade to 500Mbps for free, 500Mbps can upgrade to 800Mbps for free, and 800Mbps can upgrade to 1Gbps for free. The monthly fee will remain unchanged.
The network upgrade process will be completed within 3 months, and TM will send notifications after upgrading the network speed for users. If you don’t want to upgrade the network and you want to sign up for a network package at a lower price, you can choose to downgrade the network, but you will need to sign up for another 24 months. If you’re still on a 24-month contract, you can’t downgrade without paying a penalty.
To put it simply, existing users can maintain their existing monthly fees but receive free network speed improvements, while new users can enjoy the new monthly fees.
