Perodua may launch Perodua Nexis in early 2024!
It is understood that Malaysia’s Second National Car Company (Perodua) may officially launch a new car code-named D66B in early 2024. This new car may be called Perodua Nexis. Perodua has registered the Nexis trademark with MyIPO.
Perodua Nexis will be a B-segment SUV, competing against the Proton X50 and Honda HR-V. Perodua Nexis is expected to be equipped with a 1.5L Dual VVT-i engine and D-CVT transmission, which is the engine and transmission currently used in Alza and Myvi.
Perodua Nexis will be equipped with the DNGA GA-B platform chassis, which is the same as the latest Alza and Vios. Perodua Nexis is very likely to be equipped with a full version of driving assistance functions, such as automatic braking, lane keeping assistance, reversing and cross-traffic warning, automatic cruise, etc.
It is reported that the price of Perodua Nexis will start from RM73,000.
