Public Bank was originally going to charge merchants using PB QR to collect payments from October, but now it has announced that it will continue to exempt merchants from paying fees.
According to information on the official website of Public Bank, merchants will continue to be exempted from payment fees when using PB QR codes to collect payments from customers. Previously, Public Bank planned to charge a handling fee of 0.25% to 0.50%.
When customers use credit cards to pay PB QR merchants, the previous plan was to charge a 0.50% handling fee, but now it has been announced that the handling fee will be maintained at 0.25%.
In addition, Public Bank will also change the FPX login page from October 6, 2023. Users are reminded to pay attention to avoid mistakenly thinking that they have logged in to the wrong page.
Previously, Public Bank’s FPX login page would display content other than the login column, but the new FPX login page will only display the Public Bank logo and login column.
