An Australian woman was taken to a distant place, robbed, and even attacked after she accepted a man’s promise to drive her home.
The victim, who was around 40 years old, subsequently managed to be saved after jumping out of the moving car in Kampung Sungai Tua while the gangster was driving it.
The victim was walking on Petaling Street in Kuala Lumpur at around 3:30 am on the 21st of this month when a man suggested taking her home. The victim unpreparedly accepted the other party’s request, and when she got in the car, she saw that there were two women inside.
The thieves then drove the victim to Bukit Ampang and stopped at an isolated area before robbing her with the help of two other women.
“Before they went, the victim struggled with the gangster and received multiple beatings. Thankfully, the victim was able to escape after jumping out of the car to protect herself.
After then, the victim was treated at Ampang Hospital, and a police report was filed.
In additional investigations yesterday, police arrested a male and two women in along with confiscating the involved car. In keeping with Section 395 of the Penal Code, police will look into the situation.
