The British rock band Coldplay is scheduled to visit Malaysia. Yesterday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Anwar personally made a video to welcome them, saying: “Coldplay, welcome to Malaysia, let us work together to protect nature and ensure world peace.”
The PAS Party leader complained today and requested that the event be canceled!
The PAS leader highlighted that Coldplay members had flown the rainbow flag on stage and had a history of supporting the LGBT community.
“Does the government plan to promote hedonism and abnormal culture in the country?” he asked in his Facebook post. The band’s performance in Malaysia should be canceled, in my opinion, as it is not going to help the country, the religion, or the race in any way at all.
However, Coldplay previously sponsored a boat to help clean up dirty rivers in Malaysia. Then why doesn’t the PAS leader consider this aspect?
