The first grade school aid for the 2023–2024 academic year has officially started to be sent to the school’s bank account; the help must be distributed to first graders by the end of April, according to education minister Fadhlina.
On January 12 of this year, the Ministry of Education started giving out cash for school starting su pport. Only students in the first grade of primary school (now known as the second grade) until the fourth grade of secondary school received it at that time. (now in middle school)
The government will no longer focus on parent income under the beginning assistance program for the 2023–2024 school year, and all children will be able to receive RM150 in start up help. Parents still come to the school to pick up the start of school help in the current system. In the future, the start of school help may be given using a direct transfer system to the student’s bank account.
