STR Assistance is now open for application and information updates!
STR is a government assistance scheme for families with a monthly income of up to RM5,000 and single persons with a monthly income of up to RM2,500.
Eligible persons can apply or update their information from March 1 to March 31, 2023. If you choose to apply via counter or paper form, you can apply from March 8 to March 31, 2023.
If you have received government assistance last year and your latest information is the same as before, you do not need to update your information. However, if your information has changed, you will need to update your information. If you have not updated your information for 3 years in a row, you must do so this year.
How to update your STR benefits online
Step 1: Go to https://bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my/.
Step 2: Enter your ID number and click on Log Masuk.
Step 3: Check if the ID number is correct, then click Semak.
Step 4: Check if the security verification code is correct and select Yes (Ya) or No (Tidak).
Step 5: Enter the login password.
Step 6: Click on Kemas Kini Permohonan.
Step 7: Simply check and complete the updated information and submit it.
How to apply for STR assistance online
Step 1: Go to https://bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my/.
Step 2: Click on PERMOHONAN BAHRU.
Step 3: Fill in all the information.
Step 4: Simply submit the application form.
