On the first day of the written SPM exam, Deputy Education Minister Lim Hui Ying went to St. Xavier’s Institution to check the test room and cheer up the students.
She also said that the Education Department has set up 15 medical centers as temporary test sites, mainly for people who have symptoms but still want to take the test.
The government has also set up 15 medical centers where people with symptoms can get temporary exams.
She stated that 403,637 people are attempting the SPM all over the country and that 19,501 are from Penang. She also said that there are 3,355 examination centers all over the country and that 147 are located in Penang.
Additionally, she praised the instructors and staff members for their assistance in preparing the examination centers for the students. She also urged the students to perform to the best of their abilities on the examinations.
