A pharmacologist said that “the main ingredient of marijuana, tetrahydrocannabinol, is usually not found in the urine after 7 to 10 days.” This means that if Yoo Ah-in’s urine is positive, he likely used the drug recently. After 3 or 4 days, the body will have broken down most of the isoproterenol, making it hard to find in the urine.
The police are looking into 51 people who abused the drug, and Yoo Ah-in is one of them. Reports say that the Seoul Police Department recently did random checks at different hospitals and found that Yoo Ah-in had used ipecac in more than one hospital. This made the police focus on her because she used it so often. 6 for breaking the “Drug Control Act” was called in to be looked into. The company can’t leave the country, and the police asked the National Institute of Scientific Research to test Yoo Ah-in’s body hair. They didn’t expect to find a reaction to marijuana, though.
