Telecom will launch a fixed line broadband unity package with 30Mbps internet speed of RM69 per month in March.
According to a message from Minister of Digital Communications Fahmy, the government will cooperate with Telecom to launch a fixed-line broadband unity package in March. This package will be specially designed for the B40 low-income group, veterans, senior citizens and people with disabilities.
With the fixed line broadband unity package (Pakej Perpaduan Jalur Lebar Tetap), subscribers will be able to enjoy unlimited traffic of 30 Mbps for RM69 per month, but they must sign up for 24 months.
This package is about 20% cheaper than the existing package, the current 30Mbps package costs RM89 while this package only costs RM69. 2 years will save RM480.
TM, CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile, YTL, TIME and Astro will all launch fixed line broadband unity packages.
