Recently, a French couple with five kids went out to dinner and couldn’t find their youngest daughter, who is only three years old. Their daughter had become trapped in the washing machine, and they had been searching desperately for her.
According to extensive foreign media reports, the 3-year-old girl lives with her 48-year-old father, 37-year-old mother, and four older siblings in an apartment in the 20th district of Paris, France.
The incident happened last Thursday, January 12. The girl’s parents and a child noticed she was missing after dinner. They looked for her inside and outside the apartment and asked the neighbors for help, asking if they had seen her leave the house.
The girl’s father and one of her older brothers found her at 10:30 p.m. locked inside the family’s washing machine. The girl showed very slight signs of life at that point. In need of immediate medical attention, the dad dialed 911. The paramedics arrived to find the girl in critical condition. Despite their best efforts, she passed away shortly after arriving at the hospital.
