Chinese people like to use all new items in the Lunar New Year, such as new clothes, new shoes, new furniture, new cars, and of course, new banknotes. For this reason, all major banks in China will offer new banknotes exchange services before the Lunar New Year.
CIMB Bank (CIMB) has announced the launch of new banknotes from January 9 to January 23, and those interested can visit selected CIMB ATMs to withdraw the new banknotes.
It is worth mentioning in particular that most CIMB ATMs offer the new RM10 banknotes, while only 2 branches offer the new RM50 banknotes, namely the branches of Menara CIMB and KLCC in Kuala Lumpur.
If you choose RM10 new banknotes, then you can withdraw up to RM300 per person, which means you can withdraw up to 30 RM10 per person. if you choose RM50 new banknotes, then you can withdraw up to RM1500 or up to 30 new banknotes.
