The new airline MYAirline officially opens ticket booking! Here is the MYAirline’s fees for checked baggage and seat selection.
MYAirline is a brand-new Malaysian airline. It began accepting ticket reservations on November 26 and will begin providing passenger services on December 1. MYAirline only operates three routes: Kuala Lumpur-Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur-Sabah Kota Kinabalu, and Kuala Lumpur-Sarawak Kuching.
According to MYAirline’s official website, passengers can bring up to 7KG or two small pieces of luggage on the plane, and all other luggage must be checked. Checked luggage on MYAirline will be charged based on weight, with options of 15kg, 20kg, 25kg, 30kg, and 40kg.
The fees for checked luggage vary depending on whether you buy it online or at the airport, and the fees for checked luggage in West Malaysia and East Malaysia are also different. One piece of checked luggage cannot weigh more than 32kg. If it weighs more than 32kg, it must be divided into two pieces of checked luggage.
In terms of seat selection, the minimum fee is RM10, the higher the fee but the further you go, and the highest fee is RM55. Fees are also classified as Online and Counter. Online fees are generally low, whereas counter fees are generally high. MYAirline will also charge a fuel surcharge; the West Malaysia flight costs RM12, while the East Malaysia flight costs RM18. The counter check-in fee is RM20.
