The first 20 cubic metres of free water in Selangor is now open for application by people with a monthly income of up to RM5,000 and will be extended in the future.
Selangor State Minister Datuk Seri Amiruddin mentioned in the Selangor State Assembly that the Skim Air Darul Ehsan scheme will be extended in the future. The scheme is currently open for application by people with a monthly income of up to RM5,000.
There are 4 eligibility criteria for Skim Air Darul Ehsan, i.e. the applicant must be a Malaysian citizen and must reside in Selangor. The applicant’s household income must not exceed RM5,000, the household must have a separate water meter and each applicant can only apply for one household.
The Darulik Hill Water Supply Scheme will be open for application until 31 December 2024.
The first method is to apply online, you can register an account at https://ssipr-daftar.selangor.gov.my/register and then choose to apply for Skim Air Darul Ehsan.
The second method is to use a paper form, fill it out and submit it to the Air Selangor office or Social Service Center (Pusat Khidmat Masyarakat). You can also download the application form from https://www.airselangor.com/residential/skim-air-darul-ehsan/ and email it to [email protected] after completing it.
Application requirements for the Free Water Scheme in the State of Selangor.
1. Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen and residing in Selangor
2. Household income less than RM5,000 per month (including spouse’s income, single person)
3. Holders of individual water meters or low cost HDB flats with master water meters may also apply, subject to confirmation from the Joint Management Board (JMB) or Management Committee (MC).
