Good news! Anwar announces November 28 as a special holiday!

Good news! The new Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar, has declared November 28 as a special holiday.

The new Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Anwar was sworn in as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia at the National Palace. Anwar then held a press conference at around 9:00 p.m., during which he announced that November 28, 2022 (Monday) would be designated as a special holiday.

Anwar said that he has received the support of the three camps of Hizbul Mujahideen, BN and Sarawak, as well as the support of Pakatan Harapan, All People’s Party and independents. Anwar also pointed out in a press conference that he will submit a motion of confidence in the parliamentary session on December 19 to show that he has the support of more than half of the members.

Anwar also said he would not compromise on corruption. During the announcement of the special holiday, Anwar also joked, “Tomorrow is not a holiday, but Monday will be listed as a special holiday.

In addition, Anwar also said he would not receive the prime minister’s salary to fulfill his campaign promise. Anwar will present a new budget.

Anwar received a congratulatory message from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a press conference, and he also “live-streamed” the message during the press conference.
