The new generation of Toyota Vios, powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, has been officially launched in Indonesia.
The new Toyota Vios has already been launched in Thailand and Laos, and now it has been officially launched in Indonesia. The Thai version of the Toyota Vios is called the Yaris Ativ, which is powered by a 1.2-liter 3NR-VE engine, while the Indonesian version is powered by a 2NR-VE 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine.
The Toyota Vios launched in Indonesia is powered by the same engine as the Myvi and Alza, which delivers 104.6HP and 138Nm of peak torque.
The new generation Toyota Vios launched in Indonesia is also built on the new DNGA chassis, with a length of 4410mm, width of 1740mm, height of 1480mm and chassis of 2620mm.
The Toyota Vios 1.5E is equipped with a five-speed automatic transmission, while the other two models are equipped with CVT automatic transmission.
The Toyota Vios 1.5 G TSS comes with a full suite of Toyota Safety Sense safety assistance systems. This system includes features such as fixed speed cruise control (ACC), collision warning and braking (AEB), forward start warning, road departure warning and assist, and automatic high beams.
Thailand, Laos and Indonesia have already released the next-generation Toyota Vios, while Malaysia is expected to wait until the first quarter of 2023 for the official release.
