Attention AmBank users, cell phone users with Android 10 or below will not be able to use AmOnline APP from 2023.
As part of AmBank’s efforts to enhance the security of internet banking, Android phone users are urged to upgrade their cell phones to Android 10 or above to continue using the AmOnline APP.
If you are still using a cell phone with an operating system below Android 10 as of January 1, 2023, you will not be able to use the AmOnline APP and you will only be able to use the web version of AmOnline for your banking transactions.
To find out which operating system your phone is using, you can open Settings and find About Phone. to update your operating system to Android 10 or above, you can go to Settings and select Software Update.
Currently, AmOnline APP supports Android 8 or newer version of Android phones.
The latest Android OS is now Android 13, Android 10 was released in 2019, while Android 9 was released in 2018.
