MAS Airlines offers direct flights between Kota Kinabalu and Singapore.
A new direct flight route between Kota Kinabalu and Singapore was introduced by Malaysia Airlines yesterday, marking another significant step in the company’s network growth strategy.
A welcoming ceremony was held for passengers who arrived at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) by flight MH648 from Changi International Airport at 12:25 p.m. local time to mark the maiden flight (SIN).
Given that the airline now offers direct flights to Singapore via its primary hubs of Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Kuching, the route will further improve connectivity and flexibility for travellers headed there.
On Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, Malaysia Airlines will run the direct flights three times a week, leaving BKI-SIN through MH647 at 7:00 am and SIN-BKI via MH648 at 10:00 am.
The flights will be run by B737-800 aircraft, which have 160 seats total, including 16 business class seats and 144 economy class seats.
