RTM to broadcast the FIFA World Cup live, people can watch the event for free on 3 TV channels!

According to the Minister of Communications and Multimedia Commission, Tan Sri Anuar Musa, RTM will broadcast 41 matches of the Qatar World Cup, 27 of which will be broadcast live and the rest will be delayed.

 

RTM will broadcast the matches live or delayed on three TV platforms – TV2, TV OKEY and RTM SPORT – and on the web platform RTM Klik, which will broadcast matches from countries with a large fan base and high ranking in Malaysia.

 

RTM will spend RM32.5 million to broadcast the World Cup in Qatar, while the last World Cup in 2018, RTM also broadcast 41 matches at a total cost of approximately RM30 million.

 

The 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, with the first match between Qatar and Ecuador.
