BKM is once again open for people to update their details!
According to the BKM website, BKM beneficiaries can update their information through BKM website from 10 August to 30 August 2022.
Note! This is only available to those whose BKM applications have been approved and who have not appealed. They can update their phone number, email address, beneficiary details and bank account details.
You will only need to update your bank account details if you have experienced a failed BKM remittance. You can update your details through the BKM website and also directly at your nearest LHDN.
BKM is a government assistance scheme that aims to alleviate the burden of the low-income group. Under the BKM scheme, single persons with a monthly income of up to RM2,500 and families with a monthly income of up to RM5,000 are eligible for assistance.
With the increasing inflation in the country, the government will not rule out the possibility of increasing the BKM assistance in the coming September.
