Maybank is offering a fixed deposit offer for 6 and 12 months, either over the counter or online through Maybank2u.
This time deposit offer is divided into Fresh Fund and Non Fresh Fund, Fresh Fund will receive a 0.05% higher time deposit rate than Non Fresh Fund. The so-called Fresh Fund is a transfer from other banks, and any transfer within 7 days is considered as Fresh Fund.
You can enjoy 2.80% p.a. for a 6-month time deposit with Fresh Fund and 2.75% p.a. for Non Fresh Fund.
As for the 12-month time deposit with Fresh Fund, you can enjoy a time deposit rate of 3.00%p.a., while you can only enjoy 2.95%p.a. with Non Fresh Fund.
The minimum deposit amount for this time deposit offer is RM10,000 and can be deposited via Bank Counter, Maybank2u Web, M2U MY APP and MAE APP.
