Attention parents of newborns in Selangor! The Selangor State Government will be giving out RM100 bonus to newborns born in 2022!
The Selangor Newborn Incentive Scheme (Iltizam Anak Selangor) is a scheme launched by the Selangor State Government to encourage people to give birth and to ease the burden of raising a new child.
The Selangor government will give RM100 per year to newborns born in 2022 for a period of 5 years, which means that each newborn will receive a total of RM500. The bonus will be paid into the newborn’s SSPN Prime account.
The SSPN Prime is a savings fund under the PTPTN, which pays out 3% to 4% interest annually. The Selangor Newborn Bonus Scheme will benefit 30,000 newborns born in Selangor at a cost of RM3 million.
Parents of newborn babies should remember to apply at https://anas.yawas.com.my/ and applications will be open from July 1, 2022. Parents are required to submit additional documents within 14 days of application.
