The amount of BKM aid will be distributed for stage 2.
The government will begin distributing BKM assistance in the second phase on June 27. From June 27, the public can check their bank accounts to see if they have received the assistance.
On June 22, around 4 p.m., Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri delivered a televised speech in which he announced that he would increase the distribution of BKM assistance to the B40 low-income groups. B40 low-income families can receive an additional RM100, while B40 low-income singles can receive an additional RM50.
Prices for these items will rise beginning in July as the government eliminates subsidies for bottled cooking oil, chicken, and eggs. The government has decided to increase the distribution of BKM assistance in order to alleviate the people’s living burden.
As long as you are a BKM recipient, you will be able to receive government assistance beginning June 27. Those who have previously provided a bank account can receive the aid via a bank account, while those who do not have a bank account can go to a nearby BSN bank to receive the aid in cash.
