It has been half a year since National Digital (DNB) started to launch commercial 5G in December 2021. Only YTL Yes has officially launched a commercial 5G network package, and TM unifi has joined DNB’s 5G network, though no commercial 5G package has been launched yet.
It is worth mentioning in particular that not all 5G phones can use DNB’s 5G network, and there are currently a total of 83 phones that support DNB’s 5G network. Apple iPhone is not among them, and the latest iPhone 13 series phones do not support DNB’s 5G network for the time being.
According to DNB’s official website, the 5G network coverage is currently limited to parts of Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Johor.
