1. Collect noon water
As long as the water at the noon hour of the Dragon Boat Festival, are called noon time water, also known as extremely Yang water. From 11am to 1pm is the time of the pure Yang of the Dragon Boat Festival, when people can go and collect the water at noon. 2. Zongzi
The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional custom of the Chinese people since ancient times. Zongzi, a type of rice cake, is a tribute used by people to worship the gods during the New Year festivals, and it is an ancient tradition to make rice cake to worship the gods during the New Year festivals. There are many different kinds of rice dumplings, and different kinds of rice dumplings are made for different festivals. 3. Dragon Boat Paddling
Dragon boat paddling is a traditional custom of the Dragon Boat Festival. It is said to have originated in the ancient times when the people of Chu could not bear to see their wise minister Qu Yuan die in the river and many people rowed after him to save him. They scrambled to get to Dongting Lake but lost sight of him. Every year afterwards, people paddled dragon boats on the 5th of May to commemorate this event. The dragon boats were used to disperse the fish in the river so that they would not eat Qu Yuan’s body.
4. Stand the egg
The egg is a Chinese festival food custom that refers to the Dragon Boat Festival at 12 noon on the day of the festival, as it is the ultimate in the gathering of Yang and positive energy, so it is believed that eggs that are not easily erected can be erected straight on the ground at this time.
