SPM exam results will likely be released next week, and students will be able to check their SPM results online then.
This year’s SPM exams were held from March 2 to March 29, and it is expected that SPM exam results will be released on the second Thursday of June. The Ministry of Education has not yet announced the exact date for the release of SPM results.
According to the situation last year, the SPM results were released on June 10, and candidates could first check the results online and through cell phone newsletters, and then download the complete result sheet on June 14. We do not rule out the possibility that the same approach will be followed this year.
There are two ways for SPM candidates to check their results. The first method is to visit the Examination Board’s website, which is http://lp.moe.gov.my/ or https://myresult1.moe.gov.my/. The second method is via SMS, which is to enter the SPM <space> ID number <space> candidate number and send it to 68886, e.g. SPM 031211056354 BD0081234.
Due to the epidemic, the Ministry of Education has adjusted the SPM examination schedule and the SPM result release from 2020 onwards. After the SPM exam results are released, students can arrange for advancement directly to higher education.
Prior to the epidemic, students had to wait six months after taking the SPM exam before they could continue their education, which resulted in students needing some time to reintegrate into academic life.
