According to the 2022/2023 school timetable released by the Ministry of Education, schools will start their end of first term holidays on 3 or 4 June. This holiday, together with weekends and Sundays, will last for 9 days.
Schools in Group A (Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu) will be on holiday from 3 June to 11 June 2022, and will start their second term on 12 June.
As for schools in Group B (Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya), they will enjoy the end-of-semester break for the first term from 4 June to 12 June 2022. Schools in these states will start their second term on 13 June.
It is worth noting that 30 and 31 May are harvest holidays in Sabah and Labuan, 1 and 2 June are Daya holidays in Sarawak and 3 June is classified as a special school holiday in Sarawak. In other words, schools in Sarawak will enjoy a 12-day long holiday, that is, from 1 June to 12 June.
