The Weather Bureau has issued thunderstorm warnings for several states in the country!
According to the weather forecast issued by the Meteorological Department at 6:20 pm on April 25, thunderstorms are expected to continue in 11 states and regions until 9 pm.
The affected areas include Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Sabah, Sarawak and parts of Labuan.
The Seremban region experienced a heavy downpour in the afternoon, with severe flooding on several major roads. People are urged to avoid roads that are prone to lightning and flooding, and to carry rain gear when you go out to avoid thunderstorms that may disrupt your schedule.
The Meteorological Office will issue a warning when an area is expected to receive more than 20mm of rain per hour for more than one hour.
